Michael Hogardt
Michael Hogardt is senior consultant for microbiology at the Institute of Medical Microbiology and Hospital Hygiene in Frankfurt, Germany. He is head of the consiliary laboratory for cystic fibrosis (CF) bacteriology. His research interests are bacteria that cause difficult to treat infections in CF patients, such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Burkholderia cepacia complex or NTM.
